The Women’s Wellness program at Wyoming Migrant Health receives funding from state contracts, private foundations and local fundraising. The program helps women gain access to their yearly wellness exams at little or no cost to them.
The program coordinator provides individual and group education on women’s health issues along with “how to perform a self breast exam.” Clients may choose whether they prefer to have individual or group setting for the educational piece.
Program Outreach Workers provide individual assistance in filling out applications and coordinating care to every client enrolled in our program.
Outreach Workers coordinate appointments with clients' schedules, helping them to set up an appointment with the participating provider of their choice.
The Program Coordinator oversees every client, ensuring follow-up care.
