To improve the health status of migrant and seasonal farm workers and their families through assurance of high-quality primary and preventive health care services.
To make available health services that are accessible, acceptable, and appropriate for the target population in order to be effective.
To work closely with the community, including other health care professionals, in the provision of effective health care services to the migrant and seasonal workers and their families.
To comply with federal and state administrative policies and procedures and medical and nursing protocols governing the delivery of health care to migrant and seasonal farm workers and their families.
To develop strategies to increase public awareness of the target populationâ€™s contribution to the community and promote understanding of and support for health care projects for migrant and seasonal farm workers and their families.
Outreach and Enrollment Specialist; Wyoming Migrant Health/Wyoming Health Council
Under supervision of WMHP Director, position is responsible for:
Travel required throughout Big Horn Basin. Position is benefited, 40 hrs/week, located in Powell, WY. Salary negotiable DOE.
- Provide outreach opportunities for community residents who lack access to healthcare and health insurance
- Provide enrollment and application follow-up assistance
- Build/strengthen enrollment collaborations with local partner organizations.
