The mission of the Wyoming Health Council is to assure access to voluntary family planning and other health care services and to provide education in Wyoming that encompass: quality care, comprehensive/holistic wellness, informed choice, confidentiality, community collaboration, prevention, affordability, cultural competency and empowerment.
Founded in 1990 as the Title X Family Planning Grantee for the state of Wyoming, the Wyoming Health Council has broadened its vision over the decades, and has provided health care, educational and support services to countless individuals across the state.

The Wyoming Health Council (WHC), a private non-profit 501(c) 3 entity, announces the anticipated availability of funds for family planning services grants under the authority of Title X of the Public Health Service Act and solicits applications for competing grant awards. This announcement requests applications for three-year projects (2017-2020), subject to annual submission of continuing applications, availability of funds, satisfactory progress of projects, and adequate stewardship of federal funds.
WHC seeks applications from public and nonprofit private entities to establish and operate voluntary family planning services projects, which shall provide family planning services to all persons desiring such services. Family planning services include clinical family planning and related preventive health services; information, education and counseling related to family planning; and, referral services as indicated.
